FAQs

Thinking about microblading removal? Here are some frequently asked questions to help you know what to expect.

  • Laser removal targets the pigment in the skin and breaks it into smaller particles, which your body naturally flushes out over time. Each session lightens the pigment gradually until your desired result is achieved.

  • No. The laser targets pigment, not hair follicles, so your natural brow hair will remain intact.

  • The number of sessions depends on factors like pigment depth, color, and skin type, but most clients need 3–6 sessionsspaced about 6–8 weeks apart for optimal fading.

  • The treatment can be uncomfortable, but most clients tolerate it well. It may feel like quick rubber band snaps or a warm sting. We apply a numbing cream before treatment to help reduce any pain or sensitivity.

  • You may experience slight redness, swelling, itchiness, or scabbing for a few days after treatment. Avoid touching, picking, or applying makeup on the treated area until it’s fully healed (typically 7–10 days).

  • Absolutely. Once your skin has fully healed and pigment is adequately faded, you can schedule a new microblading or brow tattoo session — usually after 8–12 weeks.

  • It’s best to wait until your skin is fully healed before doing any brow treatments like lamination, tinting, or waxing. The skin can be more sensitive after a laser or saline removal session, and performing a chemical service too soon could cause irritation or affect healing.

Additionally, brow lamination involves strong chemicals, and if your brow hairs are already fragile from previous treatments, it could weaken the hairs and potentially cause them to fall out. For the safety of your brows and the best results, we recommend waiting at least 4–6 weeks after your removal session or until your skin and hairs are fully recovered. Your artist can evaluate your brows at your next appointment to confirm when it’s safe to resume lamination.

  • If you have unwanted, uneven, or discolored brow pigment — or you simply want a clean slate — you’re likely a great candidate. A consultation is the best way to determine your ideal removal plan.
